10 games you should check out on steam

It's that time of the year again: the steam winter sale is here!

This is my list of 10 games you should check out.

1. Super Hexagon

This awesome minigame is currently 80% off. Which means, you only have to pay 50 cents for this fun title! In "Super Hexagon" you, the little triangle, try to dodge the walls coming at you. This may not sound really fun, but the flashing screen and the fast soundtrack makes this game into a must have!

2. Final Fantasy VIII

If you don't know the "Final Fantasy" series, then you missed something good. Even though i think "Final Fantasy IX" is better, i also love this one. And it's currently 33% on sale, so you should get that title for only 9 bucks!

3. Just Cause 2

"Just Cause 2" is the perfect game for the people waiting for Grand Theft Auto 5 to finally get a PC version. You can use your hook to fly over the skyline of this wonderful city, take down cops and drive with a bunch of cars, planes and boats.

4. Civilization V

Civilization V is a wonderful strategy game. The game is currently 14 bucks, which means it's 50% off. "Sid Meier's Civilization V" is a turn-based strategy game, where you build cities and make war with other countries. This game even has an multiplayer mode!

5. Tomb Raider (2013)

Lara Croft is back! Or not. Because this game is not a sequel, it's a prequel. You play as young Ms. Croft, on a island, together with her crew and a brutal gang. The game is about getting of the island, which is cursed by a witch (or something). And for the first time, Lara actually looks like a normal girl. It's 50% off, wich means only 35 bucks.

6. DayZ

DayZ is finally a standalone! (yay!) And it's directly a hit on steam. For only 25 bucks you can get this wonderful zombie survival game. But keep in mind, it's more fun with friend!

7. The Stanley Parable

The Stanley Parable is a must have! Because the game is full of spoilers, i won't tell you anything, just the price of this indie masterpiece. You can get this game today for only 9 bucks!

8. Garry's Mod

No list about Steam without Garry's Mod. This is a game that let's you have fun forever. Hilarious gamemodes made by the players and even a full modding integration with workshop. You can get it for 9 bucks.

9. Game Dev Tycoon

Some of you might already played the gam "Game Dev Story", which is a app for mobile devices made by Kairosoft. You can get this nice simulation of a game company for only 6 bucks.

10. Starbound

This is the one game i was playing for so long. It is not on sale, but it's awesome. Take Terraria and multiply it by 1'000 and you'll get Starbound. This game is so much fun with friends, but also alone. If you have some money left, get this game!
